Monolithic reinforced concrete foundation

"The scales consist of load-bearing modules that are installed directly on the monolithic reinforced concrete foundation of the scale complex. This is manufactured within 2 weeks at the scale's place of use and is the most reliable and durable foundation for railway scales.
A pit is dug at the intended location of the scale, the gravel cushion is filled with tamped concrete in layers, then the formwork and the reinforcement frame are created, the built-in parts are installed and the concrete is poured into the scale foundation. The load-bearing platforms and a system of restraint mechanisms are installed on the prepared foundation.

The advantages of a monolithic foundation are a reliable and durable foundation that is resistant to mechanical damage and heavy loads.
The deadline for closing the tracks for work is 40 days."

Foundation made of precast concrete elements

"The scales consist of load-bearing modules and boundary frames, which are installed directly on the precast concrete foundation of the weighing complex, which is made at the place of use of the scale from standard reinforced concrete structures (foundation blocks - 32 pieces and road slabs - 4 pieces). The reinforced concrete elements are manufactured in a professional production facility and have the relevant certificates.
A pit is dug at the planned location of the scale, backfilling is carried out in layers with a crushed stone cushion of fraction 5-20 with compaction, and then the blocks and slabs are installed. Welding work is carried out to fasten the foundation elements to one another. Load-bearing platforms and a system of limiting mechanisms are installed on the prepared foundation.

The advantages of the precast foundation lie in the possibility of moving the weighing complex to another location, the high durability of the standard reinforced concrete elements and the foundation as a whole, as well as the possibility of carrying out the work in the cold season.

Duration of track closure for work - 7-10 days.

Scales in threshold design

"The scale consists of load-carrying modules that are installed directly on the sleeper substructure of the weighing complex. Installation is carried out directly at the site of use of the scale within 3-5 days and is the fastest way to install the scale, this type of installation is used when it is not possible to close the railway line for a long time.
A pit is dug at the planned location of the scale, the gravel cushion is filled and stuffed in layers and the reinforced concrete sleepers are installed according to the planning documents. Load-bearing platforms and a system of restraint devices are installed on the prepared surface.

The advantages of the sleeper scale are the ability to move the weighing complex to another location and carry out the work in the cold season.

The duration of the track closure for the work is 3-5 days."
